Trust between brands and audiences is breaking down. Buyers do most of their research before the brand ever hears from them, AI-generated content is everywhere, and a static, text-heavy website and long registration form does very little to re-build that trust.
Human video is one of the few tools that can rebuild that trust at scale - but only if it's used differently to how most event brands currently use it: not as a polished, pre-event corporate marketing asset, but as a genuine, always-on layer woven into the website and campaign itself.
In this session, Chris Wickson (Co-founder, ReelFlow) sits down with a senior marketing leader from a global B2B event organiser to talk about how they're using video to close the trust gap - where it sits in the stack, what it replaces, and what actually changes in visitor and exhibitor behaviour when it's done right.

Chris Wickson is CEO & Co-founder of ReelFlow - an interactive, human-video platform for B2B event websites that helps engage and convert modern audiences.
Chris is an experienced 3x founder, and prior to ReelFlow he co-founded Akkroo, a B2B event lead capture platform which was acquired by Integrate in 2019.
I’m an experienced B2B marketing leader driven by one simple idea: make things easier, smarter, and more impactful.
As Regional Marketing Director at Easyfairs, I lead marketing strategy across 30 large-scale B2B exhibitions spanning the UK, Europe, and the US. I also head up a centralised team of specialists across technology, data, intelligence, marcomms, design, PPC, and website, bringing these capabilities together to deliver aligned and high-performing marketing at scale.
My role is to deliver measurable growth through smarter processes, data-led decision making, and operational efficiency; whilst building and scaling high-performing teams. My focus is not just on performance today, but on creating marketing functions that are adaptable, scalable, and built for long-term growth.
Throughout my career, I've been focused on how data can unlock better decision-making and stronger customer experiences. In a digital world saturated with information, we marketers can easily become overwhelmed by inefficient processes and low-value insights. I focus on cutting through that noise to ensure marketing is driven by clarity, relevance, and commercial impact.
