Event teams often lose time turning one changing brief into multiple operational artefacts: run-of-show schedules, stakeholder updates, risk registers and last-minute action lists. AI can accelerate that work, but unreliable outputs, missing context and unclear ownership can create new operational risk.
In this hands-on workshop, Richard Ogundele will guide participants through building a reusable AI-assisted event operations workflow using a sample event brief and ChatGPT. Participants will map the workflow, define trusted inputs, design structured prompts, and generate a run-of-show, stakeholder communications and a practical risk register. They will then stress-test the workflow against missing information, conflicting instructions and late changes.
The emphasis is not on autonomous AI replacing event professionals. It is on designing a dependable human-in-the-loop system: clear approval points, data-handling boundaries, validation checks and named ownership before anything reaches attendees, suppliers or production teams.
Attendees will leave with a reusable workflow template, a reliability checklist and a practical method they can adapt immediately for their own events. No coding is required; participants should bring a laptop and access to ChatGPT or a comparable AI assistant.
