A two-question test you can run today to decide which event workflows AI should run, support, or leave alone.
Every AI pitch now makes the same promise: do more, with far less. Half the team, launched by Friday, personalised for every attendee. But, most organisers are still waiting to see it work.
The problem isn’t the technology. It’s the question. Instead of asking “where can we use AI?”, event technologists should be asking “where is a human worth paying for?”
In this 30-minute session, Dr Barış Onay presents the Human Premium Grid. It’s a simple test you can run on any workflow in the event stack: how repeatable is the work, and how much does the customer value a human doing it? Run it across registration, matchmaking, lead capture, content and sales, and it sorts the work into four groups: automate, augment, stop, or protect.
He’ll also cover why AI compounds bad data and broken processes, and why the first rule is never to automate waste.
