Event technology has become increasingly sophisticated, but have we also made it more complicated than it needs to be?
With endless features, integrations, platforms and new technology competing for attention, it’s easy to lose sight of what event organisers and attendees actually need.
This conversation strips event tech back to the essentials and asks what really makes the difference to a successful event, whether you’re running a 100-person internal meeting or a global enterprise event programme.
We’ll explore the fundamentals that shouldn’t be compromised, including security, scalability, accessibility, customisation, personalisation, support and meaningful data. We’ll also tackle the harder question: which features genuinely improve the event experience, and which are technology for technology’s sake?
The aim isn’t to add more tech. It’s to make better decisions about the tech you use.
Because great events aren’t built on having the most technology. They’re built on having the right technology.
