This session is hosted by NOWIE (Network of Women in Events) and is part of a wider programme of community-led meetups taking place across Event Tech Live 2026.
Each meetup is 45 minutes long and is designed to be informal, interactive, and connection-focused. The format may include networking, roundtable discussion, community updates, founder conversations or open dialogue, depending on what feels right for the group.
This is not a sales session. It’s a space for real conversations between people who care about the same space, challenges and opportunities.

About NOWIE (Network of Women in Events)
The Network of Women in Events (NOWIE) was established in 2013, with the goal of improving the working landscape for women in the live events industry. With an ever-expanding roster of annual projects and events, NOWIE continues to strive for better opportunities for women in the events sector at all stages of their careers, through networking, community and improved representation. Currently, NOWIE’s online community stands at over 10,000 members across various platforms and over 350 official members.

As the Founder of Access Together, Co-Director of Levelling The Field and Board Member of Deaf Rave, I am committed to helping shape that future.
As a disabled professional working across the events and education industry in a directive, teaching and consultancy capacity, I’m passionate about creating spaces where people feel genuinely considered and able to fully participate. My work sits at the intersection of access and community through a creative lens - collaborating with artists, organisers, venues and brands to champion more equitable experiences and move them beyond the “inclusion tickbox” and towards meaningful, progressive change.
From delivering Deaf awareness training and access consultancy for businesses, to supporting large-scale festival initiatives including Glastonbury Festival, Brockwell Live, Mighty Hoopla, BSL and more, I bring- both my lived experience and strategic insight to every project I oversee.
Needless to say, I care deeply about building environments where access is embedded from the very beginning, not retrofitted later.
Roisin is a UK-based event MC, moderator and host with a decade-long career spanning not-for-profit, small business, education, and global production. Known for bringing energy, warmth and flair to every stage, she's hosted fireside chats, panels and roundtables for audiences and organisations of all sizes.
