Budgets are tighter than ever, and many venues now come with preferred or exclusive suppliers. Is that the easy option that saves you time, or an extra cost you only discover after signing? A venue marketplace, an event procurement platform and a leading production supplier debate what preferred suppliers really mean for your budget. Expect real costs, an audience vote, and a practical checklist of what to ask before you book, so your budget works harder.
Speakers
Adam is Commercial Director at Hire Frequencies, the UK AV production specialist behind live, hybrid and broadcast events for brands including eBay, PwC, KPMG and VOGUE. He started in events and activations in Ireland, then moved into AV production in the UK. He was a Hire Frequencies client before joining two years ago, so he knows both sides of the table.
Hannah leads marketing at VenueScanner, the London-based platform that helps organisers find and book venues for corporate events, conferences and parties. Its agency team supports clients across the full brief, beyond the venue itself.
Tom is Founder and CEO of Lumix, the event procurement platform that matches event teams with vetted suppliers and returns competitive quotes fast. Lumix works with corporate and conference organisers on everything around the venue, from AV and production to catering and staffing. It is Procurement Partner for Black Tech Fest. Before Lumix, Tom worked at Togather.
